3 Spokojna Street

for eight cellos (2010)

On the outskirts of a city, at 3 Spokojna Street, there is a large building with a rather gloomy appearance. It is hard to find without knowing the way. In the first decade of the twenty-first century, he witnessed many trivial and several important events in the life of a family.

The piece was commissioned by the Polish Composers' Union with the band CELLONET in mind; it was created in the summer and fall of 2010.
