How Many Worlds

for mixed choir and mechanical organ (2019)

The piece was inspired by the title poem of Ryszard Krynicki, posing a question about the nature of repetition in the world. It seems that the author does not know the answer, but treats the subject as a key to some truth.

The music is an expression of being moved by such interpretation of the poem, as well as the world.

I’d like to thank prof. Władysław Szymański for the suggestion to write the piece, and the Silesian Philharmony for the premiere.
