We don't understand each other. We are passing by. We send signals to each other, but the transmission is constantly interrupted. We cannot be sure of its content ourselves. We have access to information. We collect them urgently. Information about the world. About yourself. Numbers and relationships. We learn to interpret them. We guess their meaning. We build complex systems of meaning. They are like lighthouses between which we drift. Our bodies make gestures. Hundreds of muscles in our faces are in constant motion. Squinting is distrust. Squinting my eyes is a pleasure. A wave of your hand is a greeting. A wave of your hand is disregard. The numbers are safe. We're trying to count everything. We categorize. We systematize. We are called autistic people. We are called schizophrenics. We call ourselves healthy people. The world is made up of billions of atoms. Humans are made up of billions of atoms. Atoms consist largely of empty space. We're not meeting. We are separated by walls. The walls are somewhat transparent. We look out through them as if through windows in the rain.

The composition was created in 2008.
