The Monster's Voice

for counter-tenor, chorus and orchestra (2024-2025)

Opera to the libretto by Robert Bolesto inspired by Agnieszka Holland's film "Europe, Europa" and memories by Solomon Perrel. The story is transposed into the realm of myth. The titular monster — a young member of the Medusa species — must hide from the people of Hades, who seek to destroy him. The most effective hiding place turns out to be a disguise: wearing the enemy’s uniform.
